DRAFTSPERSON

 Our ideal candidates will have experience with or education in Autodesk Revit and/or AutoCAD applications. Experience in the construction trade or residential design is a plus. Our staff must have the ability to work alone as well as with others professionally while enjoying a fast-paced work environment with a variety of projects occurring.

 

Education and Work Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor in related field 1 to 2 years of work experience required (3 - 4 years of work experience if associate)

 

Functions and Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare full and accurate architectural or structural drawings.

  • Maintain and update drawings and files as required throughout the life-cycle of the construction projects 

  • Details in structures and computes necessary dimensions.

  • Collaborate with Project Designer, Project Manager, Superintendent, and Estimator as well as other team members on drawing deliverables.

  • Determines materials necessary to meet planning criteria coordinates the work, and changes as necessary

  • Exercises independent judgment in the selection of scale and proper views and decides upon necessary dimensions and proper placement on drawings.

  • Comply with all work-related deadlines

 

Skills: 

  • Autodesk REVIT 2024

  • AutoCAD

  • Adobe Acrobat Reader

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

This is an in Office Position from 8 - 5 Monday through Friday

TRIM CARPENTER

Job Postig 2

A versatile, quality minded finish trim carpenter to perform all carpentry or repair tasks needed to adequately complete jobs and ensure customer satisfaction. Must be incredibly detail oriented, quality focused, organized and able to complete tasks in a given time frame.

Description/Purpose:

Support the team with current and ongoing projects throughout the company.

Support the company's current productivity and product standards.

Encouraged to provide input regarding current and ongoing projects, quality, productivity, safety, etc.

Successful candidates will show the ability to be trained, ask good questions, and have good attendance.

Skills in the following are preferred: Framing, Trim, Siding, Roofing, Flooring, Windows.

The ideal candidate will able to manage job sites, employees, and sub-contractors.   

 

Job Responsibilities:

Provide quality control oversight

Ability to work independently on assigned tasks

Adhere to company safety policies and procedures

Perform tasks related to carpentry, drywall, paint, finish carpentry & cabinet installation.

interact and communicate well with the client, supervisor, employees, and subcontractors throughout the job.

Monitor project timelines to ensure timely completion of work   

 

Job Requirements:

5 years experience in rough and finish carpentry (preferred).

Candidate should have all around general knowledge of general carpentry.

Ability to read and interpret blue prints, and drawings to understand project details.

Ability to complete a variety of field tasks timely with high quality.

Take direction from Superintendent and demonstrate leadership skills on job site.

Strong knowledge of all facets of general construction.

Must be able to communicate effectively with coworkers and homeowners.

Must be reliable and punctual.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to present proof of driving record for insurability.

Salary: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
